About Air Force X/Y Group Exam.

About Air force X/Y Group Exam?

Indian Air Force Group X & Y are the personnel below officer rank within the Indian Air Force also referred to as Airmen.

The Indian Air Force conducts the Group X & Y exam for the choice of airmen into the Indian Air Force.

Indian Air Force Group X & Y may be a national level examination which is conducted twice a year, first within the month of March and next within the month of September.

This exam is conducted for young undergraduates who are trying to find a chance to hitch the Indian Air Force.

The exam is merely applicable for Male candidates who are selected within the following branches/trades:

1. Group X (Technical Trade):

Candidates who have passed or appeared in 10+2 with Physics and Maths are eligible for Group X Group they can also apply for Y group by choosing Both X/Y Group .

Their work profile includes maintenance of all fields associated with Aircraft, ground system, etc.

2. Group Y (Non-Technical Trade):

Students who have passed/appeared in 10+ 2 in any stream are eligible for Group Y.

Air Force X/Y Group Eligibility Criteria

The Indian Air Force recruits Airmen in two categories that is Group X & Group Y for Air Force . The IAF every year invited online applications for unmarried male candidates who are citizen of India & Nepal.  Other Eligibility criteria is given below.

1. Age Criteria

Candidates born between 19 July 2000 and 01 July 2004 are eligible to use .

After clearing all the choice stages, the candidate must be but 21 years.

2. Educational Qualification:

Trade Educational Qualification

For Group X

Candidate must Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics & English

and Must have scored 50% marks in overall and 50% marks in English Or he must passed 3 years diploma course in Engineering in any stream must have scored 50% marks in overall & 50% marks in English

Group Y (Except health professional )

Passed 10+2/equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics & English

He Must have 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English

Group Y (Medical Assistant)

Candidate must have 10+2 or equivalent qualification in these subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English

He must scored 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
