    Exam Pattern:

    1. Preliminary Competitive Examination: The Preliminary Competitive Examination will contains two papers i.e. Paper-I GS and Paper –II CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test).     • The most Examination is meant to assess the general intellectual traits and depth of understanding of candidates instead of merely the range of their information and memory. Each paper are going to be divided into two parts, which are Part A and Part B and each part containing four questions.
    • Five questions are to be attempted out of 8 questions. In each part there’ll be a compulsory question. Candidates are going to be required to answer another question out of remaining three questions in each part. during this way, a minimum of two questions are going to be attempted from each Part i.e. one compulsory question and additionally another question.
    • The most competitive examination shall include compulsory and optional subjects and each candidate shall take all the compulsory subjects and two of the optional subjects, apart from Ex-servicemen candidates, who are exempted from taking optional subjects. A candidate shall specify in his form the optional subjects he/she desires to opt.
